At CMPly, we want you to be completely satisfied with our service. This Refund Policy explains our policies regarding subscription cancellations, refunds, and related matters.

By subscribing to CMPly, you agree to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy.

2. Free Trial Period

We may offer a free trial period for new users. During the trial:

  • You have full access to the Service features
  • No payment is required during the trial period
  • You can cancel at any time before the trial ends
  • If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged

Important: Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial end date to avoid being charged.

3. Subscription Cancellation

3.1 How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time through:

  • Your account dashboard: Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription
  • Contacting our support team at support@cmply.app

3.2 When Cancellation Takes Effect

When you cancel your subscription:

  • You will retain access until the end of your current billing period
  • No further charges will be made
  • Your subscription will not auto-renew
  • You can continue using all features until the subscription expires

3.3 After Cancellation

After your subscription period ends:

  • Your account will switch to a free/limited plan (if available)
  • Premium features will be disabled
  • Your data will be retained for 30 days
  • You can reactivate your subscription at any time

4. Refund Policy

4.1 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for all subscriptions:

  • Request a refund within 14 days of any payment
  • Full refund, no questions asked
  • No exceptions or qualifiers
  • Access to the Service will be terminated upon refund processing

How to request: Email billing@cmply.appwith "Refund Request" in the subject line, including your account email.

4.2 After 14 Days

After the 14-day period:

  • You can cancel anytime, but no refund for the current billing period
  • No partial refunds for unused time

5. Subscription Changes

5.1 Upgrading Your Plan

When you upgrade to a higher-tier plan:

  • Upgrade takes effect immediately
  • You are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing period
  • Your next bill will be at the new plan rate

5.2 Downgrading Your Plan

When you downgrade to a lower-tier plan:

  • Downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You continue to have access to current plan features until then
  • No refund for the difference in plan prices
  • Your next bill will be at the new (lower) plan rate

6. Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions follow the same 14-day refund policy:

  • 14-day money-back guarantee applies to annual plans
  • After 14 days, you can cancel anytime but no refund for unused months
  • Access continues until the end of the annual period after cancellation

Note: Annual plans typically offer a discount compared to monthly billing. This discount is factored into the non-refundable nature of annual subscriptions.

7. Failed Payments and Account Suspension

7.1 Payment Failures

If a subscription payment fails:

  • We will attempt to charge your card up to 3 times
  • You will receive email notifications about failed payments
  • Update your payment method in your account dashboard
  • Your subscription may be suspended after multiple failed attempts

7.2 Account Reactivation

To reactivate a suspended account:

  • Update your payment method
  • Pay any outstanding balance
  • Your subscription will resume immediately
  • Data will be retained for 30 days during suspension

8. Billing Disputes

If you believe you were charged incorrectly:

  • Contact us within 30 days of the charge
  • Email billing@cmply.app with your account details and charge date
  • We will investigate and respond within 5 business days
  • If the charge was an error, we will issue a full refund

8.1 Chargeback Policy

Important: Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks can result in:

  • Immediate account suspension
  • Loss of access to data
  • Additional chargeback fees passed to you

We are committed to resolving billing issues fairly and quickly. Contact us first, and we will work with you to find a resolution.

9. Refund Processing

When a refund is approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • It may take 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account (depending on your bank)
  • You will receive an email confirmation when the refund is processed

10. Service Interruptions

In the event of extended service outages:

  • We will provide status updates via email and our status page
  • If downtime exceeds 48 consecutive hours, you may request a prorated credit
  • Credits will be applied to your next billing cycle
  • Scheduled maintenance is not eligible for credits

11. Account Termination by CMPly

If we terminate your account due to Terms of Service violations:

  • No refunds will be provided
  • Termination is effective immediately
  • You will lose access to all data
  • Outstanding balances remain due

If we terminate your account for reasons other than violations, you may be eligible for a prorated refund at our discretion.

12. EU Consumer Rights

If you are an EU consumer, you have additional rights under EU law:

12.1 14-Day Withdrawal Right

EU consumers have a 14-day right to withdraw from online purchases, which aligns with our standard 14-day money-back guarantee. You can request a full refund within 14 days of any payment, no questions asked.

12.2 Unfair Terms

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as an EU consumer. If any term is found to be unfair under EU consumer protection law, that term will not apply.

13. Changes to Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be communicated via:

Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
